We are sending each student with a spelling book. Please encourage your child to write words in her book that are unfamiliar from a reading or discussion at home. Often children can read the words but need practice spelling. English is a funny language. Know, knowledge, gnat, their, there to name a few. Children love listening and learning new words.
Returning students will continue to use their home spelling books from last year.
